HPDC – High Pressure Die Casting
The HPDC shop consists of highly efficient die casting machines ranging from 180T to 1200T capacity
Three lines
Based on the machine capacity the HPDC shop is divided into three lines 1,2 & 3
Line 1
Machine capacity 630T to 1200T. Make of machines- IDRA, LK and Toyo. Most of the machines in this line are fully automatic with auto ladle and auto spray mechanisms. In the IDRA 1200T machine the closed loop multi point control of the injection velocity and pressure, programming and control of process parameters give the die caster all of the necessary tools required for the most demanding parts.
Line 2
Machine capacity 180T. Make of machines Toyo. With a mix of manual and semi-automatic machines, the line is responsible for the production of the largest number of aluminium castings. The lower weight category parts are produced in single or multi-cavity dies with ease and reliability. The skilled operators with their expertise on these machines are a treat to watch on the production shop-floor of Esko Casting and Electronics Pvt Ltd.
Line 3
Machine Capacity 180T to 630T. Make of machines- IDRA, Yizumi, LK and Toyo. The medium tonnage machines have the largest mix of machine suppliers. The machines in this line are having the auto ladle and auto spray mechanisms in operation. Two of the machines have been set to the fully automatic operation with auto extractors. The parts are cooled on the conveyor with the operator removing the gates and overflows at conveyor end.
