VMC and CNC Machine Shop
The Machine shop delivers the precision machined castings made on high tech machining centres in order to meet customer expectations.
The most versatile and modern machine shop is the catalyst for the conversion of castings into finished parts directly usable by the customer. The shop boasts of more than 50 VMC and CNC turning machines. The VMCs and Drill tap Centres include the machines from reputed manufacturers like Makino, Fanuc, HAAS, AMS and BFW. Similarly the CNC turning centres are from AMS, LMW and Jyoti. With a good working environment the machine shop churns out machined castings at a frivolous pace.
The machine shop maintains a constant demand onto the Die casting shop and pull the castings for supply to the customers. The tool store is located next to the machine shop for ease of issuance.
The movement of castings to and from the machine shop is catered to by Material movement lifts at the two ends of the shop. The chip removal is streamlined through chip trolleys from the gangways.
Fanuc Robot drills
The vertical machining centres (VMC) are high precision machines and a feather in their cap are the Fanuc Robot drills. Known for their machining accuracy coupled with the flexibility of machining along various axis’ the Fanuc Robot drills are choice of the customers who demand precision machined parts.
Special purpose and conventional machining
The Esko Casting and Electronics Pvt Ltd. machine shop deploys SPMs and conventional machines also. This is done where there is a high production requirement with reasonable machining accuracy. The SPMs run in tandem with the VMC and CNC machines in order to manufacture parts at a reasonable cost.
Fettling and shot blasting
The gate cutting/breaking, overflow and chill vent removal and other fettling operations are carried out in the HPDC shop of Esko Casting and Electronics Pvt Ltd. The quality inspected Ok components are loaded in bins and trolleys for transfer to the casting storage area and machine shop. Some components as per the customer requirements are shot blasted prior to being shipped to casting storage area. Some machining operations are carried out on the conventional machines and SPMs.
